Car
If you're driving from central Valdarno to Villa Carlotta, head towards the A1 motorway. Enter the A1 towards Florence. After about 30 km, take the exit towards Firenze Scandicci. Merge onto the SS67 and continue to follow signs for Firenze. Once in Florence, navigate to Via Michele di Lando, which is located near the historic center. There is usually street parking available, but be mindful of ZTL (limited traffic zones) in the city center.
Public Transportation
To reach Villa Carlotta via public transport, start by taking a train from Valdarno to Florence. Trains run frequently; check the Trenitalia website for schedules. Once you arrive at Firenze Santa Maria Novella train station, exit the station and take bus number 14 towards 'Piazza della Libertà'. Get off at the 'Bologna' stop. From there, it's a short walk to Via Michele di Lando. Alternatively, you can catch a taxi from the train station directly to Villa Carlotta for convenience, which may cost around €15-20.
