Getting there

Bus

From the center of Bergamo, head to the main bus station at 'Piazzale Marconi'. Look for the bus number 251 towards 'Menaggio'. The journey will take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Once on the bus, enjoy the scenic views of the Italian countryside. When you arrive at 'Menaggio', get off at the main bus stop. From there, you can easily walk to the local attractions.

Train and Ferry

Make your way to 'Bergamo's train station', which is located near the city center. Take a train to 'Varenna-Esino' (approximately 1 hour). Upon arrival at 'Varenna', follow the signs to the ferry terminal. Purchase a ticket for the ferry to 'Menaggio'. The ferry ride takes about 15 minutes and offers beautiful views of Lake Como. Disembark at 'Menaggio' and explore the charming lakeside town.

Walking Tour

If you prefer a more adventurous route, consider a walking tour. Start from 'Piazza Vecchia' in Bergamo's Città Alta (Upper Town). Follow the signs leading to the hiking trails towards Lake Como.
