Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start by navigating to the town of La Paghera, Province of Bergamo. Enter the coordinates 46.0311158, 10.1414829 into your GPS or mapping app. From Valtellina, take the SS38 road towards Sondrio, then merge onto the SS36 towards Lecco. Continue on the SS36 until you reach the exit for Dalmine and follow the signs for the A4 motorway towards Turin. After approximately 30 km, take the exit for Bergamo and continue on the SP4 road until you reach La Paghera. Look for signs directing you to the Vo Waterfall. Parking is available nearby, but check for any applicable fees.

• Public Transportation

  If you prefer public transportation, take a train from Sondrio to Bergamo. Once you arrive at Bergamo train station, take bus number 8 towards 'Rocca di Bergamo' and get off at 'La Paghera'. From the bus stop, follow the signs leading to the Vo Waterfall, which is approximately a 20-minute walk uphill. Ensure to check the local bus schedules for the latest timings and any possible fares.

• Walking

  If you're already in La Paghera, the Vo Waterfall is accessible by foot. From the center of La Paghera, head towards the marked trail that leads you to the waterfall. The hike is moderately easy and takes about 30 minutes. Follow the clearly marked paths and enjoy the scenic views along the way. Ensure you wear appropriate footwear as some sections can be rocky.
