Car
If you're driving to Castello Masegra, head towards Sondrio, which is well connected by the SS38 highway. Once you reach Sondrio, follow signs for 'Centro' and then for 'Castello Masegra'. The castle is located at Via de Capitani di Masegra, 23100 Sondrio SO. There is parking available nearby, but be aware that some areas may require a parking fee.
Public Transportation
To reach Castello Masegra by public transportation, take a train to Sondrio from various locations in Valtellina. Upon arrival at Sondrio train station, exit and head to the bus terminal adjacent to the station. Take bus line 1 (or any local bus heading towards 'Centro') and get off at the 'Castello Masegra' stop. The castle is a short walk from the bus stop, just follow the signs.
Walking
If you're already in Sondrio and prefer to walk, start at the central Piazza Garibaldi and head towards the north side of the square. Continue on Via XXV Aprile and follow the signs towards Castello Masegra. The walk is approximately 15-20 minutes and is mostly uphill, so wear comfortable shoes.
