Getting there

Walking

From Piazza San Marco, head southwest toward the Calle Larga XXII Marzo. Continue along Calle Larga XXII Marzo until you reach the Grand Canal. Take the Vaporetto (water bus) Line 1 or Line 2 from the San Marco Vallaresso stop toward the train station (Ferrovia). Get off at the Ferrovia stop, which is the main train station in Venice. From here, walk to the nearby Piazzale Roma bus terminal. At Piazzale Roma, you can catch a bus to Abano Terme. Look for the bus line that goes directly to Abano Terme; the journey takes around 1 hour. Once you arrive in Abano Terme, follow the signs to Viale delle Terme, which is a short walk from the bus stop.

Vaporetto + Bus

Start at the Vaporetto stop nearest to your location in Venice, such as Rialto or Accademia. Take the Vaporetto Line 1 toward Piazzale Roma. Once you arrive at Piazzale Roma, exit the Vaporetto and proceed to the bus terminal located nearby. Look for the buses that head to Abano Terme; they are usually clearly marked. Purchase your ticket and board the bus. The bus ride will take approximately 1 hour. After reaching Abano Terme, walk toward Viale delle Terme, which is a short distance from the bus station.

Train + Walking

Make your way to the Santa Lucia Train Station (Ferrovia) in Venice. You can get there by taking the Vaporetto to Ferrovia or walking if you are nearby. At the train station, purchase a ticket for a train to Padua (Padova), which runs frequently. The train ride takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Padua, exit the train station and look for the bus terminal located nearby. Board a bus that goes to Abano Terme, which is just a short ride away (approximately 15-20 minutes). After arriving in Abano Terme, follow the signs to Viale delle Terme.
