Car
If you are driving, head to Piazzale Roma in Venice and park your car in one of the garages available. From Piazzale Roma, you will need to take a Vaporetto (water bus) to reach Venice Lido. The Vaporetto Line 1 or Line 2 will take you to Lido di Venezia. Once you arrive at the Lido stop, walk towards the main road and follow signs leading to the beach area. From there, you can take a local bus or continue walking towards P.za San Marco, where Carta Gate is located. Expect parking fees around €30-€40 for a day.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, start at your accommodation in Venice Lido. Look for the nearest Vaporetto stop and board either Line 1 or Line 2 towards Venice. Stay on the Vaporetto until you reach the San Marco stop. From the San Marco Vaporetto stop, follow the signs to Piazza San Marco. Carta Gate is located at P.za San Marco, 1, which is a short walk from the Vaporetto stop. Make sure to check the Vaporetto schedule to plan your trip; a single ticket costs €7.50.
