Getting There

  • Vaporetto (Water Bus)

    Start at any Vaporetto stop in Venice, such as 'San Marco' or 'Rialto'. Take Line 1 or Line 2 towards 'Ferrovia' (the train station). Get off at 'Ferrovia' stop. From here, transfer to Line 3 towards 'Battaglia Terme'. Continue on Line 3 until you reach 'Battaglia Terme' stop. Once you disembark, you will need to walk approximately 15 minutes to reach Castello del Catajo. Head southeast on Via Catajo until you arrive at the castle located at Via Catajo, 1.

    From Venice Santa Lucia Train Station, purchase a ticket to 'Battaglia Terme'. The train journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at 'Battaglia Terme' train station, exit and follow signs to Via Catajo. It is approximately a 20-minute walk to the castle. Head southwest on Via Catajo until you reach Castello del Catajo, located at Via Catajo, 1.

    If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in Venice. From the city, cycle towards the mainland, following the signs to the 'Lido' or 'Mestre'. You can take the bike path along the coast.
