If you are near the Grand Canal, head towards the nearest Vaporetto (water bus) stop and take Line 1 towards 'Lido.' Get off at the 'Accademia' stop. From there, walk straight across the Accademia Bridge and continue along the Calle della Carità until you reach Campo Santa Margherita. Dorsoduro is just a few steps away from there.
