Venice Accademia Gallery & Dorsoduro Private Guided Tour
Excellent guided tour with very knowledgeable guide!
We had the Venice Accademia and Dorsoduro guided tour at the end of August. It was not too crowded which was great! Giuliana is great at story telling and does a great job of providing the context and backdrop before getting into the details within the tour. She is very knowledgeable about history and culture over the centuries and did an excellent job of explaining the evolution of styles over each period. We would highly recommend Luigina as a guide! Thank you Luigina for a very memorable tour and for the stories of the art of Venice.

The tour was very enlightening as it has such a wide collection of art of the modern early twentieth century artists. The guide Ms Alessandra was very well versed and competent on the many topics. The key point was the historical life of Peggy Guggenheim and the various traumas that the latter experienced which shaped her life as a n art collector. Peggy made a mark for herself instead of just being rich. Her legacy benefits the present generation with a rich assortment of modern paintings.
