Getting there

Walking

If you are near the famous Rialto Bridge, walk straight towards the water and take the first right onto Riva del Ferro. Continue straight until you reach the end of the street, and then turn left onto the Fondamenta del Carbon. Follow this path along the water until you reach the intersection with Fondamenta Cannaregio. You will see the beautiful canals and local shops along the way.

Vaporetto (Water Bus)

If you are near the San Marco area, head to the nearest Vaporetto stop, which is usually 'San Marco - Vallaresso'. Board the Vaporetto line 1 towards 'Ferrovia' and disembark at the 'Fondamenta Nove' stop. From there, walk along the Fondamenta Nove towards the right, and continue straight until you reach Fondamenta Cannaregio. This route will give you a scenic view of the Grand Canal.

Walking

From the train station (Santa Lucia), exit the station and head towards the large bridge (Ponte degli Scalzi). Cross the bridge and continue straight onto the Calle della Libertà. Walk straight until you see a sign for 'Cannaregio'. Turn left onto Calle dei Riformati and follow until you reach the intersection with Fondamenta Cannaregio.
