From Venice's main area (Piazza San Marco or Rialto), head to the nearest Vaporetto stop. If you are near Piazza San Marco, take the Vaporetto line 1 or 2 towards Lido. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Lido' stop. Once you disembark, follow the signs towards the beach and head towards the main road (Gran Viale Santa Maria Elisabetta).

Walking
After reaching the Lido Vaporetto stop, walk along Gran Viale Santa Maria Elisabetta for about 1 kilometer (approximately 15 minutes). Continue straight until you reach the end of this road, where it intersects with Via M. D'Austria. Here, you will see signs directing you toward Forte San Nicolò. Follow the signs as you turn left onto Via M. D'Austria, and continue walking straight. The Forte will be located at the end of this street, right by the waterfront.

Bicycle Rental
If you prefer a faster option, consider renting a bicycle at one of the rental shops along Gran Viale Santa Maria Elisabetta. After renting, cycle straight down Gran Viale Santa Maria Elisabetta, then turn left onto Via M. D'Austria. The ride will take about 5-10 minutes, depending on your pace. Follow the road until you reach Forte San Nicolò at the waterfront.
