From Piazza San Marco, head towards the Rialto Bridge. Walk along the Mercerie, a famous shopping street, for about 10 minutes until you reach the bridge. Cross the Rialto Bridge and continue straight along the Calle dei Stagneri until you reach Campo San Bartolomeo. From there, turn left onto Calle della Bissa, and continue walking until you reach the intersection with the Calle dei Fabbri. Turn right onto Calle dei Fabbri, and after a short walk, you will arrive at Monte di Pietà.

Vaporetto (Water Bus)
Take Line 1 from any stop along the Grand Canal (such as Rialto or San Marco) and get off at the 'Rialto' stop. From there, take the steps off the vaporetto and walk towards the Rialto Bridge. After crossing the bridge, follow the directions provided for walking from Piazza San Marco.
