Getting There

  • Walking

    Start at the famous St. Mark's Square (Piazza San Marco). From the square, head towards the Basilica di San Marco and exit towards the Riva degli Schiavoni waterfront. Walk along the waterfront for about 10 minutes until you reach the Ponte della Paglia bridge, which offers a great view of the Bridge of Sighs. Cross the bridge and head straight until you reach the Campo Santa Maria Formosa. From here, continue down the Calle della Fava, then turn right at the Calle dei Fabbri. Walk straight until you reach the Campo San Giovanni e Paolo. From there, take the Calle della Canonica to reach the Calle del Rimedio. Follow this street until you arrive at the Campiello Barbaro. Palazzo Dario will be on your left at number 352.

    Take the Vaporetto Line 1 or Line 2 from your nearest stop to the Grand Canal. If you are at the Rialto Bridge, board the Vaporetto and head towards the San Marco stop. Disembark at San Marco. From the San Marco stop, walk towards the Basilica di San Marco and exit towards the Riva degli Schiavoni waterfront. Continue walking along the waterfront for about 10 minutes until you reach Ponte della Paglia. Cross the bridge and walk straight, then follow the previous walking directions from Campo Santa Maria Formosa to arrive at Palazzo Dario.
