    If you are starting from the famous St. Mark's Square (Piazza San Marco), head towards the waterfront where you can see the Grand Canal. Walk along the water towards the left until you reach the Accademia Bridge (Ponte dell'Accademia). Cross the bridge and continue straight on the street (Rio Terrà dei Nomboli). After about 5 minutes, turn right onto Calle Lunga San Barnaba. Follow this street until you reach the intersection with Sestiere Dorsoduro, then turn left. Continue straight for about 3 more minutes, and Palazzo Nani Bernardo will be on your right at number 3197.
