Morning Walking Tour of Venice with Mini Cruise

Good tour gone bad

Lots of walking, about 5 to 6 miles including the return walk back to S Marco . Irena is an Excellent guide. Toured. San Marco, Rialto bridge, Rialto market place, short boat ride across the grand canal (5minutes), ending at the Jewish quarter. This was advertised as an English tour. Half the tourists were Spanish speakers and we English speakers had to wait for the Spanish talk to complete before the English began. This caused us to stand around and wait a lot. The 90 minute tour became over 2.5 hours. Not what we expected but had no choice.

The guide, Irene; was patient and professional. She combined both a Spanish and English tour and explained everything twice. She was positive and knowledgeable to us all. Wish it was longer.
