Walking
If you are near the Rialto Bridge, start by heading southeast along the Calle dei Fabbri. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the Fondamenta del Teatro. Turn right and follow the canal until you reach the Campo San Bartolomeo. From there, head straight towards the Piazza San Marco. Once in the Piazza, you will see the imposing structure of the Palazzo Ducale on your left. Carta Gate is located directly beside this historic building.

Vaporetto (Water Bus)
If you are at the Ferrovia (Santa Lucia Train Station), take Vaporetto Line 1 towards Lido. The journey will take about 35 minutes. Get off at the stop for 'San Marco Vallaresso'. Once you disembark, walk straight towards the Piazza San Marco. As you enter the square, you will find the Palazzo Ducale on your left side. Carta Gate is located next to the Palazzo Ducale.

From the Accademia Gallery, head towards the Accademia Bridge. Cross the bridge and turn left onto the Calle lungo il Giardinetto. Continue straight until you reach the Campo Santo Stefano. From there, head towards the Calle delle Mercerie, which will take you directly to the Piazza San Marco. Once at the Piazza, the Palazzo Ducale will be on your left, and Carta Gate is adjacent to it.

If you are near the Zattere, catch the Vaporetto Line 2 towards San Marco. Get off at the San Marco Giardinetti stop. After disembarking, walk towards the Piazza San Marco. You will see the Palazzo Ducale on your left as you approach the square. Carta Gate is located right next to the Palazzo Ducale.
