Walking
From the Rialto Bridge, head east along the Calle dei Fabbri towards the Campo San Bartolomeo. Continue straight until you reach the Campo San Luca. Turn left onto the Calle del Lovo, and then take the first right onto the Salizada San Lio. Continue straight until you reach the end of the street. You will find yourself at the Fondamenta S. Giovanni, which is a charming waterfront area with beautiful views.

Vaporetto (Water Bus)
Take the Vaporetto Line 1 from the Rialto stop heading in the direction of 'San Marco'. Get off at the 'San Marco' stop. From there, walk towards the Basilica di San Marco, then continue along the waterfront. Follow the path around the corner until you reach the Fondamenta S. Giovanni. It should be just a few minutes' walk along the water.

Starting from Piazza San Marco, head towards the Doge’s Palace and exit through the back towards the waterfront. Walk along the Riva degli Schiavoni, keeping the water on your right. Continue walking until you reach the Ponte della Canonica. From there, cross the bridge and follow the path that leads to the Fondamenta S. Giovanni. You will enjoy scenic views along the way.
