Getting There

Vaporetto (Water Bus)
To reach Forte San Nicolò, board the Vaporetto line 1 or line 5. If you are at St. Mark's Square (Piazza San Marco), walk to the nearby Vaporetto stop called 'San Marco'. Once on the Vaporetto, enjoy the ride along the Grand Canal. After approximately 30 minutes, disembark at the 'Lido' stop. From the Lido Vaporetto stop, walk straight along 'Via Sandro Gallo' for about 10 minutes until you reach a fork in the road. Take the left path towards 'Forte San Nicolò'. Follow the signs, and you will arrive at the historical landmark.
