Walking
If you are in the San Marco area, start at Piazza San Marco. Head towards the waterfront and follow the path along the Riva degli Schiavoni. After about 10 minutes of walking, you will reach the Ponte dei Sospiri (Bridge of Sighs). From there, continue straight along the Calle Larga XXII Marzo until you reach the Campo Santa Maria del Giglio. Once there, take the Calle della Malvasia and continue walking until you reach the end of the street. You will see the Rio Terà de la Maddalena on your right, and the Ponte de l'Anconeta will be just a short distance down this street.
Vaporetto (Water Bus)
If you prefer to take the Vaporetto, head to the nearest Vaporetto stop, which could be either San Zaccaria or Rialto. Take Line 1 or Line 2 towards the stop named 'Fondamenta Nove'. Once you disembark, turn left and walk along the waterfront until you reach the Ponte de l'Anconeta. The bridge is approximately a 15-minute walk from the Vaporetto stop along the Rio Terà de la Maddalena.
Walking
If you are near the Rialto Bridge, start from the bridge and head towards the Campo San Polo. From there, take the Calle del Teatro and then turn left onto the Calle del Fruttariol. Continue straight until you reach the Campo Sant'Agostin. From the Campo, turn right at the first street and continue walking until you reach Rio Terà de la Maddalena. The Ponte de l'Anconeta will be on your right side.
