    Walking

    From the central area of Venice, start at Piazza San Marco. Head towards the waterfront and follow the signs to the Vaporetto (water bus) stop at San Marco. Take the Vaporetto line 2 towards Piazzale Roma and get off at the Piazzale Roma stop. Once you disembark, walk straight towards the large bridge (Ponte della Libertà) visible ahead. It takes approximately 20 minutes to walk from Piazzale Roma to the bridge.

    From any stop along the Grand Canal, board the Vaporetto line 2 heading towards Piazzale Roma. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the Piazzale Roma stop. From Piazzale Roma, you can either walk straight to the bridge (Ponte della Libertà) or take a local bus that will take you closer to the bridge.

    If you're near a Vaporetto stop, take the Vaporetto to Piazzale Roma. From there, look for the bus stop at Piazzale Roma. You can catch a local bus (line 5) that heads towards the mainland. Get off at the Ponte della Libertà bus stop. It takes approximately 10 minutes by bus to reach the bridge from Piazzale Roma.
