If you are starting from Piazza San Marco, head towards the Doge's Palace and exit onto the Riva degli Schiavoni waterfront. Walk along the waterfront until you reach the Ponte della Paglia. Cross the bridge and continue straight until you reach the Calle della Mandola. Turn left onto Calle della Mandola and follow it until you reach the Campo San Bartolomeo. From there, follow the signs towards Rialto Bridge, which is just a short walk away.
