Walking
From the center of Verona, start at the Verona Porta Nuova train station. Exit the station and head towards Viale Piave. Walk straight along Viale Piave until you reach the intersection with Corso Porta Nuova. Turn left onto Corso Porta Nuova and continue straight until you reach the Piazza Bra. Here, you will see the famous Verona Arena. From Piazza Bra, walk towards Via Giuseppe Mazzini, a pedestrian street full of shops and cafes. Continue walking along Via Giuseppe Mazzini until you reach Piazza delle Erbe, a vibrant square surrounded by historical buildings. From Piazza delle Erbe, take Via Cappello, which leads you to Juliet's House. After visiting Juliet's House, continue walking along Via Cappello until you reach the end, then turn left onto Via Sottoriva. Walk straight, and after about 10 minutes, you will reach the banks of the river Adige. Cross the Ponte Pietra bridge, and once across, follow the road until you reach Piazza Sordello in Mantova.
