Villa Caldogno: A Gem of Art and History

Getting There

• Bus

  From Verona city center, head to the Verona Porta Nuova train station. Locate the bus terminal outside the station. Take bus line 5 towards Vicenza. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the next departure. After approximately 30 to 40 minutes, get off at the 'Caldogno' stop. From there, it’s a short 10-minute walk to Villa Caldogno. Head east on Via G. Zanella until you reach the villa.

• Train and Bus

  From Verona, travel to the Vicenza train station. You can take a train from Verona Porta Nuova to Vicenza; the journey is around 20 minutes. Once in Vicenza, exit the train station and head to the bus terminal next to it. Take bus line 7 towards Caldogno. After about 15 minutes, get off at the 'Caldogno' stop. Walk east on Via G. Zanella to Villa Caldogno, which is about a 10-minute walk.

• Walking

  If you prefer a walking route, you can take a scenic path from the center of Verona to Villa Caldogno, though it is quite long (approximately 10 kilometers). Start at Piazza Bra and head north towards Via Giuseppe Mazzini. Continue to follow the signs leading towards Via Roma and then Via G. Zanella. This route will take you through some beautiful areas, but it may take approximately 2-2.5 hours to reach your destination.
