Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in the heart of Verona City Centre, the easiest way to reach Piazza dei Signori is by walking. Begin at the famous Piazza delle Erbe, which is just a short stroll away. Head southwest from Piazza delle Erbe, and take Via Mazzini, a popular shopping street lined with boutiques and cafes. Continue straight until you reach a small intersection, where you'll see the beautiful Palazzo della Ragione. From here, turn left onto Via dei Gabbri. Walk along this road for about 200 meters, and you'll find yourself at Piazza dei Signori, which is a stunning square surrounded by historical buildings.

• Public Transport (Bus)

  Although Piazza dei Signori is very accessible by walking, if you are further away, you can use Verona's public bus system. Locate the nearest bus stop and check for buses that head towards the 'Centro' or 'Piazza dei Signori' routes. A ticket costs approximately €1.30 and can be purchased from ticket machines at the bus stop or at kiosks. Once on the bus, it should take around 10-15 minutes to reach the city centre, depending on traffic. Disembark at the stop that is closest to the city centre, and from there, it is a short 5-minute walk to reach Piazza dei Signori.

• Bicycle Rental

  For a more unique experience, consider renting a bicycle through Verona's bike-sharing program. There are several rental stations throughout the city. Use the app or look for signs indicating the nearest station. The cost for a bike rental is about €1 for the first 30 minutes, and you can return the bike at any station near the city centre. Once you have a bike, cycle towards the historic centre, following the signs that indicate 'Centro'. It should take approximately 10 minutes to reach Piazza dei Signori, where you can lock your bike at the nearby bike racks.
