Car
If you are traveling by car, start from Montego Bay. Head east on the A1 highway. Continue on this road for approximately 8 kilometers (5 miles) until you reach the intersection with the B2 road. Turn left onto B2 and follow it for about 1.5 kilometers (1 mile). Then, take a right onto Irwin Close. The Rastafari Indigenous Village is located at Montego River Gardens, which is on your left. Look for signs indicating the village.
Public Transportation
To reach the Rastafari Indigenous Village by public transportation, take a route taxi from Montego Bay towards Falmouth. Get off at the Montego River Gardens stop. From there, you can either walk approximately 500 meters (0.3 miles) along Irwin Close to reach the village or ask a local for directions. Be prepared to pay a fare of around JMD 150-300 (approximately USD 1-2) for the taxi ride.
