Car
If you are driving from Manchester Plateau, start by heading south on the A2 highway. Continue on this road for approximately 30 kilometers. You will pass through several towns, so keep an eye out for signs directing you toward Morant Point. Once you reach the junction for Morant Bay, turn east onto the B1 road. Follow the B1 until you see signs for Morant Point. The last stretch will require you to navigate some smaller roads, so keep your GPS handy. The lighthouse will be located at WR98+976, Morant Point. There is no parking fee at the lighthouse.
Public Transportation
For those using public transport, begin your journey from Manchester Plateau by taking a taxi or a bus to Mandeville. From Mandeville, catch a bus that goes to Morant Bay. Inform the driver that you are going to Morant Point, as they will drop you off at a point where you can find additional transport. Once in Morant Bay, you may need to catch a local taxi or ride-share service to take you directly to the lighthouse at WR98+976, Morant Point. Total costs for public transport may vary, but expect to pay approximately 500-700 JMD for the bus from Mandeville to Morant Bay, and an additional 300-500 JMD for the taxi to the lighthouse.
