Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in the Rose Hall area, start by heading towards the main road, which is the A1 highway. You will need to walk towards the east, following the signs for Montego Bay. As you approach the highway, look for the entrance to Kent Avenue. Once on Kent Avenue, continue walking straight until you reach a fork in the road. Take the left path at the fork, which will lead you directly to Dead End Beach. It’s approximately a 20-30 minute walk from the center of Rose Hall.

  If you prefer a quicker option, you can take a local bus. Look for a bus stop along the A1 highway that indicates services toward Montego Bay. Buses are frequent, and the fare is usually around 100 Jamaican Dollars. Ask the conductor to drop you off at Kent Avenue, and from there, it’s a short walk to Dead End Beach. After getting off, walk straight until you see the fork in the road, and take the left path to the beach.
