Look for the vibrant colors and listen for the sounds of reggae music. There are no sidewalks for stretches of the West End Road, so exercise caution and be aware of traffic. There is no cost associated with walking.
Taxi
Taxis are readily available in Negril. Negotiate the fare before starting your journey. A short taxi ride from the northern end of Seven Mile Beach to I-N-I Rastarant will cost approximately $15-$20 USD. From Rick's Cafe, a taxi will cost around $30 USD round trip. Be sure to confirm the price for the round trip or arrange a pickup time with your driver. Licensed taxis display red license plates.
Public Transport
Route taxis (minibuses with red license plates) are a budget-friendly option for getting around Negril. They operate along designated routes and can be flagged down along the road.
