Taxi

Public Transport
Route taxis, identified by their route name on the door, provide a more affordable option for getting around Negril. A ride from one beach area to another or from the beach to downtown costs approximately JMD 200-250 (around US$1.50-US$2). From the beach area to the West End, the fare is also around JMD 200-250. Be prepared for a less comfortable ride compared to private taxis. Route taxis can also be chartered as private taxis; negotiate the fare beforehand.
Walking
