From Middle Quarters, head north on the B6 towards Maggotty. The entrance to YS Falls is located approximately 3.4 miles (5.5 km) north of the A2 highway, east of Middle Quarters. Be prepared for potentially bumpy, unpaved roads closer to the falls. Parking is available at the entrance.

Taxi

Taxis are readily available in most major tourist areas like Montego Bay and Negril. A taxi from Montego Bay to YS Falls will take approximately 1 hour and 1 minute and cost between $65 and $85. Negotiate the fare before starting your journey. The taxi will drop you off at the entrance to YS Falls.

Shuttle

Shuttle services are available from Montego Bay to YS Falls. Willis Tours and Transportation offers a shuttle that takes approximately 45 minutes and costs $70. The shuttle will drop you off at the entrance to YS Falls.

Overview

YS Falls is a captivating natural attraction located in St. Elizabeth Parish on Jamaica's south coast. The estate, dating back to the 17th century, was initially a sugarcane farm and logwood supplier before opening to the public in 1992. The name YS Falls may originate from the Gaelic word 'Wyess,' meaning winding, or from combining the initials of early owners, John Yates and Richard Scott.Visitors are treated to seven stunning waterfalls that cascade into inviting natural pools. Lifeguards are present to ensure swimmer safety. For the adventurous, a canopy zip line offers a thrilling ride over the falls. A tractor-pulled jitney transports visitors through the lush estate, passing grazing horses and cattle. The falls are surrounded by beautiful trees, gardens, and picnic areas, making it a perfect spot for a relaxing day.YS Falls provides a serene and less crowded alternative to better-known attractions like Dunn's River Falls. The falls cascade 118 feet (36m) down. Visitors can explore the falls via well-constructed pathways and steps. The natural pools at the bottom of each cascade offer a refreshing swim. The estate also features a natural spring pool, gardens, and a gift shop.
