Palisadoes Promenade: A Serene Coastal Escape

Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Port Antonio, head towards the waterfront along East Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Harbour Street. Turn left onto Harbour Street and follow it until you reach the coast. You will see the marina and the beautiful views of the ocean. Continue along the coast past the marina until you reach the Norman Manley Highway. Cross the highway carefully and you will arrive at the Palisadoes promenade, where you can enjoy the ocean views and the lovely surroundings.

• Bicycle

  If you have access to a bicycle, start from the center of Port Antonio and ride towards East Street. Follow East Street as it leads you to the waterfront. Once you reach the intersection with Harbour Street, turn left. Continue cycling along Harbour Street until you reach the coast. At the marina, veer right and follow the coastline until you hit the Norman Manley Highway. Carefully cross the highway, and you'll find yourself at the Palisadoes promenade.

• Public Transportation

  Take a local bus from the central bus station in Port Antonio heading towards Port Royal. Ask the driver to let you off at the stop nearest to the Norman Manley Highway. Once you exit, cross the highway carefully to reach the Palisadoes promenade. It’s a short walk from the bus stop to the promenade, where you can enjoy the scenic views.
