Walking
From the center of Runaway Bay, head east on Main Street (also known as the North Coast Highway). Continue walking for about 15 minutes until you reach the intersection with Burwood Beach Road. Turn left onto Burwood Beach Road. Walk straight for about 5 minutes, and you will see the entrance to Burwood Public Beach on your right.
Bus
Locate the nearest bus stop along Main Street in Runaway Bay. Take a local bus heading towards Ocho Rios. Inform the driver that you're going to Burwood Beach. The bus ride will take approximately 10 minutes. Get off at Burwood Beach Road, and from there, walk about 5 minutes straight until you reach Burwood Public Beach.
Bicycle
If you have rented a bicycle, start from the center of Runaway Bay and ride east along Main Street (North Coast Highway). Continue for about 15 minutes until you reach the intersection with Burwood Beach Road. Turn left and ride for another 5 minutes to arrive at Burwood Public Beach.
