Getting There

Walking

From the center of Runaway Bay, head east on the A3 road towards Ocho Rios. Continue walking along the A3 for approximately 7 kilometers (about 1.5 hours). You'll pass several local shops and restaurants on the way, so feel free to stop for refreshments. Keep an eye out for signs directing you to Fern Gully. As you approach Ocho Rios, look for the entrance to Fern Gully on your left. It is located in a lush area with lots of trees and is hard to miss.
Public Bus

Find a local bus stop in Runaway Bay, particularly near the main square. Once there, catch a bus heading to Ocho Rios (these are usually marked with signs on the front). The journey takes about 30 minutes. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Fern Gully. After disembarking, walk back a short distance to the entrance of Fern Gully, which will be on your left.
