    From the center of Savanna-la-Mar, head north on Great George Street towards the roundabout. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the A2 highway. At the intersection, turn right onto the A2 highway. Follow the A2 for approximately 20 kilometers towards Montego Bay. As you approach Montego Bay, look for signs directing you to Irwin Close. Once you reach Irwin Close, turn left and walk until you arrive at Montego River Gardens Porto Bello, where the Rastafari Indigenous Village is located.

    From Savanna-la-Mar, you can take a local taxi to Montego Bay. Go to the taxi stand located on Great George Street. Inform the driver that you would like to go to Montego River Gardens Porto Bello. The journey will take about 30-40 minutes depending on traffic. The taxi will drop you off at the entrance of Irwin Close, from where you can walk to the Rastafari Indigenous Village.

  • Public Bus

    To reach the Rastafari Indigenous Village, take a public bus from Savanna-la-Mar to Montego Bay. The bus leaves from the bus terminal on Great George Street. Confirm with the driver that the bus stops at Montego Bay. After about 30-40 minutes, the bus will arrive at the Montego Bay bus terminal.
