Car
If you're driving from Aki, take Route 11 towards Naruto. The journey will take about 30 minutes. As you approach Naruto, follow the signs for 'Naruto Whirlpools' (鳴門の渦潮). Once in Naruto, you can park at the Naruto Park parking lot, which costs approximately 500 yen for the day. From the parking lot, it's a short walk to the observation points.

From Aki, take the train from Aki Station to Tokushima Station. The journey will take about 40 minutes. Once at Tokushima Station, transfer to the local bus bound for Naruto. The bus ride will take around 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Naruto Park' bus stop. The cost for the train is approximately 500 yen, and the bus fare is around 300 yen. From the bus stop, follow the signs to Naruto Whirlpools, which are located just a 10-minute walk away.
Public Transportation (Direct Bus)
An alternative option is to take a direct bus from Aki to Naruto. Check the local schedule at Aki Bus Terminal for available routes. The bus ride will take about 50 minutes and costs around 600 yen. Once you arrive at Naruto, you can walk to the whirlpools in approximately 15 minutes.
