Car
If you're driving, start from central Aki and head north on Route 7. Continue for approximately 25 kilometers until you reach Oga City. Once in Oga, follow signs for the Oga Shinzan Folklore Museum. The museum is located at Mizukuisawa-80, which is well-signposted. There is a parking area available on-site, but be aware that there may be a small parking fee depending on the season.
Public Transportation
To reach Oga Shinzan Folklore Museum via public transportation, take the Akita Nairiku Jukan Railway from Aki Station to Oga Station. The journey takes about 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Oga Station, you can take a local bus towards the Mizukuisawa area. Get off at the Mizukuisawa stop, which is a short walk from the museum.
