Getting There

Car

If you're driving to Tokushima Zoo from central Awa, start by heading south on Route 192. Follow the signs for Tokushima city. After approximately 15 kilometers, merge onto Route 11, which will take you directly towards Tokushima. Look for signs indicating 'Tokushima Zoo' as you approach the city. Once you arrive in the Nyudo Shibunocho area, turn right onto Shibunocho. The zoo will be on your left at 〒771-4267 Tokushima, Shibunocho, Nyudo−２２−1. There is parking available on-site.
Public Transportation

To reach Tokushima Zoo via public transportation, make your way to Awa-Ikeda Station. From there, take the JR Tokushima Line towards Tokushima Station. The journey will take about 40 minutes. Upon arrival at Tokushima Station, exit the station and look for the bus terminal. Board a bus heading towards 'Nyudo Shibunocho' (the buses are usually labeled in both Japanese and English). The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the stop closest to Tokushima Zoo, and it will be a short 5-minute walk to the zoo's entrance located at 〒771-4267 Tokushima, Shibunocho, Nyudo−２２−1.
