By Bus from Kusakabe Port
Approximately 15 minutes by bus from Kusakabe Port to Kountei bus stop (Kankakei Line). Bus operates every two hours except mid-May to late July, September-October (weekends/holidays only), and mid-December to mid-March (no service). Cost: 500 yen one way.
By Car to Lower Station
15 minutes from Kusakabe Port or 40 minutes from Tonosho Port to the lower ropeway station. Free parking available with 40-spot capacity at lower station. Then take the ropeway (5 minutes, departures every 6-12 minutes).
By Car to Upper Station
Approximately 40 minutes from Tonosho Port, 20 minutes from Obe Port, or 30 minutes from Fukuda Port directly to the upper station. Free parking with 200-spot capacity. Restaurant is immediately accessible.
By Hiking Trail
Two hiking trails connect lower and upper stations. Western trail: approximately 2 kilometers, 1 hour uphill or 30-45 minutes downhill. Eastern trail: approximately 3 kilometers, more remote route. Both are easy but steep, running mostly through forest.
