Car
If you are driving from Bingo, take Route 2 (also known as the Fukuoka Expressway) heading towards Fukuoka City. Continue on Route 2 for about 40 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Route 3. Take Route 3, following the signs for Hakata. After approximately 10 kilometers, take the exit for Sumiyoshi. After exiting, follow the signs for Canal City Hakata, which should be visible. There is parking available at Canal City, but be aware that parking fees apply, which can vary based on the duration of your stay.
Train
To reach Canal City Hakata via public transportation, first head to the nearest train station in Bingo. Take the JR Sanyo Line towards Hakata Station. The journey takes approximately 1 hour and costs around 1,500 yen one way. Upon arriving at Hakata Station, follow the signs to the Hakata Bus Terminal located adjacent to the station. From there, take Bus No. 100 or No. 10, both of which stop directly at Canal City Hakata. The bus ride takes approximately 10 minutes and costs about 210 yen.
Bus
If you prefer to take a bus from Bingo, find the nearest bus stop that connects to the express buses heading towards Fukuoka. Take the Nishitetsu Bus bound for Fukuoka City (the fare is approximately 1,200 yen). Upon arriving in Fukuoka, you can transfer to a local bus or taxi to Canal City Hakata. If you choose a local bus, take Bus No. 100 or No. 10 from the bus terminal near Tenjin Station, which costs around 210 yen and takes roughly 10 minutes.
