Getting there

Public Transport

From Kawaguchiko Station, take the Fujikyu Railway Line to Fujikyu Highland Station. The park is a short walk from the station. A one-way fare on the Fujikyu Railway from Otsuki Station to Kawaguchiko Station is approximately ¥1,180, and travel time is around one hour. From Kawaguchiko Station, you can also take a bus to Fuji-Q Highland. Several bus lines serve the area, including highway buses from Tokyo. Bus fares from Shinjuku to Kawaguchiko range from ¥1,900 to ¥2,200. A Mt. Fuji Pass may offer unlimited rides on trains and buses in the area.

Walking

Fujiyama Tower is located within Fuji-Q Highland. Once inside the park, follow the signs to the Fujiyama area. The tower is situated next to the Fujiyama roller coaster. Note that a park admission ticket is required to access the tower. A one-day pass to Fuji-Q Highland costs ¥6,000 for adults.

Fujiyama Tower is a 55-meter-tall observation tower located within the Fuji-Q Highland amusement park in Fujiyoshida, Yamanashi Prefecture. Opened in the summer of 2021, the tower offers visitors panoramic views of the iconic Mount Fuji and the surrounding Fuji Five Lakes area.The tower features the Fujiyama Sky Deck, an open-air observation deck providing unobstructed views of Mount Fuji. For thrill-seekers, the Fujiyama Walk is a harnessed walk around the tower's exterior, offering a unique and slightly terrifying perspective. The Fujiyama Slider, Japan's longest tube-type slider, spirals down from the Sky Deck to the ground.Visitors can access the Fujiyama Sky Deck using a high-speed elevator. Belongings must be stored in lockers before ascending to the deck. The Sky Deck offers a thrilling vantage point to watch the park's famous Fujiyama roller coaster in action.Fuji-Q Highland itself is a popular amusement park known for its thrilling rides and attractions, including several record-breaking roller coasters. The park also features themed areas such as Thomas Land and La Ville de Gaspard et Lisa.
