The Unicorn Gundam Statue is a 5-minute walk from Daiba Station, located in front of DiverCity Tokyo Plaza. Alternatively, take the Rinkai Line to Tokyo Teleport Station (approx. 20 minutes, ¥330) and walk 5 minutes to the statue.
Bus

From Tokyo Station Yaesu South Exit, take the Toei Bus 東16 bound for Tokyo Big Sight. Alight at the Musashino Daigaku-mae bus stop (approx. 33 minutes, ¥210). The Unicorn Gundam Statue is a short walk from the bus stop, located in front of DiverCity Tokyo Plaza.

The Life-Sized UNICORN GUNDAM Statue is a modern marvel located in Odaiba, Tokyo, representing the fusion of futuristic technology and Japanese pop culture. Based on the RX-0 Unicorn Gundam from the *Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn* series, this colossal statue stands at 19.7 meters tall and weighs 49 tons. Unveiled in September 2017, it replaced the previous RX-78-2 Gundam statue and has since become a beloved landmark.The statue's most captivating feature is its ability to transform between Unicorn Mode and Destroy Mode. In Unicorn Mode, it appears mostly white with a single antenna. During the transformation into Destroy Mode, panels open to reveal a glowing red psycho-frame, changing the Gundam's head to expose its face. This transformation occurs multiple times daily and is achieved through a complex system of moving panels, LED lights, and sound effects.Adding to the experience, special evening shows take place every 30 minutes, featuring dynamic video mapping projected onto the DiverCity building behind the statue, accompanied by Gundam theme songs. Visitors can also explore the nearby Gundam Base Tokyo on the 7th floor of DiverCity Tokyo Plaza, offering an extensive collection of Gundam models and merchandise. The statue is free to view and is accessible 24/7, though the light shows are best viewed after sunset. The area around the statue and DiverCity Tokyo Plaza is wheelchair accessible.
