Ujo Park: A Tranquil Oasis in Okayama

Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving from central Bizen, head west on Route 2. After approximately 15 minutes, turn left onto Route 250 and continue for another 5 minutes. You will reach Ujo Park, which is located at 2 Chome-3 Marunouchi, Kita Ward, Okayama. Look for parking options near the park entrance. Note that parking may incur a fee, typically around 300-500 yen for a few hours.

• Public Transportation (Train)

  From Bizen, take the JR Sanyo Line train from Bizen Station to Okayama Station. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once at Okayama Station, exit the station and head to the bus terminal located outside. Take the bus heading to Marunouchi and alight at the Marunouchi stop. Ujo Park is a short walk from the bus stop, approximately 5 minutes. The train fare is around 550 yen, and the bus fare is about 210 yen.

  For a direct bus option, check for local buses that run from Bizen to Okayama City. Depending on the time of day, buses may take about 45 minutes to reach Okayama. Once you arrive at the bus terminal in Okayama, head to the Marunouchi bus stop and disembark. Ujo Park is just a 5-minute walk from there. The fare for this bus ride is typically around 600 yen.
