Car
If you're driving, head towards Okayama from Sanuki. You will take the Takamatsu Expressway and continue on it until you reach the Okayama interchange. Merge onto Route 2 and follow the signs to Okayama city. Once in Okayama, look for the signs directing you to Saiwaicho and Shimoishii Park. The park is located at 10 Saiwaicho, Kita Ward, Okayama, 700-0903. Ensure to have a GPS or a map handy as parking can be limited around the park.
Public Transportation
To reach Shimoishii Park using public transportation, start by taking a train from Sanuki to Okayama Station. The trip usually takes about 30 minutes. From Okayama Station, exit and look for the bus terminal located right outside the station. Take the No. 47 or No. 48 bus heading towards Saiwaicho. The fare is approximately 210 yen. Get off at the Saiwaicho stop, and from there, it is a short 5-minute walk to Shimoishii Park located at 10 Saiwaicho, Kita Ward, Okayama, 700-0903.
