Car
If you're driving from Bungo, take Route 10 towards Oita City. Continue on Route 10 for approximately 40 kilometers until you reach the junction for the Oita Expressway. Merge onto the Oita Expressway and follow the signs for Fukuoka. After about 60 kilometers, take the exit for the Kanagawa area. Follow the local roads to reach Minato City, Tokyo. Look for signs leading to Rainbow Bridge, which is located at 3 Chome Kaigan, Minato City. Parking is available nearby, but be aware that there may be fees associated with parking.
Public Transportation
To reach Rainbow Bridge using public transportation, start at Bungo Station. Take the train on the Nippō Main Line towards Oita and change trains at Oita Station to the Shinkansen (bullet train) towards Tokyo. Disembark at Tokyo Station. From Tokyo Station, take the JR Yamanote Line to Hamamatsucho Station. At Hamamatsucho, transfer to the Tokyo Monorail and ride to Tennozu Isle Station. From there, it’s a short walk to Rainbow Bridge. Be sure to check the train schedules for any changes and potential costs associated with ticket purchases.
