Walking Tour in the Geiko Districts
Best walking Tour of Geiko/Geisha District
If you do one thing in Kanazawa apart from seeing the Gardens do this tour. Hiromi is an excellent guide. The tour is going to take you around the district introduce you to the concepts and the architecture. Kanazawa is said to be a hidden gem in Japan, off the Kyoto, Tokyo, Osaka circuit and within Kanazawa this tour was the diamond we found. It had rained a lot so we were lucky because it was only two of us. Could have been a bit tight through the small streets with a bigger group. Highly recommended!

Pick Lucy if you seek a great guide
Lucy was excellent. Quite honestly with the knowledge she possesses she could teach a class on Kanazawa and Japan. We walked a lot but at our pace. Lunch was awesome, but Lucy was great and we are thankful she was our last guide in Japan because she would have been hard to beat in terms of knowledge. Highly recommend Lucy for all ages. We were 64,62,65 and 77 years of age and capable of walking in a comprehensive 6 hour tour.

Our guide Yu was very knowledgeable and made our day a lot of fun. We learnt so much and wouldn't have had such a great time if we'd tried to do this by ourselves. Our favourite day so far.
