Car
If you're driving to the Spaceship-Aqua Observation Deck, start by heading towards Nagoya. Use the Meishin Expressway and take the Nagoya IC exit. Once you exit, follow signs for Route 41 towards Nagoya. Continue on Route 41 for about 10-15 minutes. Look for signs directing you to the 'Higashi Ward' and then to 'Sakae Park'. You can park at the nearby parking facilities (note: parking fees may apply, typically around 500-1000 yen for a few hours). The observation deck is a short walk from the parking area.
Public Transportation - Train
For those using public transportation, take the JR Tokaido Line to Nagoya Station. From Nagoya Station, transfer to the subway and take the Higashiyama Line (Yellow Line) towards Fujigaoka. Get off at Sakae Station (3 stops). After exiting the station, follow the signs for Sakae Park. The Spaceship-Aqua Observation Deck is located within the park, just a few minutes' walk from the station. A one-way ticket on the subway costs around 280 yen.
Public Transportation - Bus
If you prefer to take a bus, from Nagoya Station, you can catch a Meitetsu bus heading towards Sakae. The bus ride takes approximately 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to get off at the Sakae bus stop. From there, you can walk to Sakae Park and find the Spaceship-Aqua Observation Deck. Bus fare is generally around 230 yen for a one-way trip.
