Subway
If you are starting from Hakata Station, take the Kuko Line (Airport Line) towards Airport. Get off at Tenjin Station (approximately 5 minutes). Transfer to the Nishitetsu Tenjin Ōmuta Line and take the train towards Dazaifu. Get off at Chikkohonmachi Station (approximately 6 minutes). From Chikkohonmachi Station, exit the station and walk approximately 8 minutes northeast to reach アクアリウム located at 13-6 Chikkohonmachi, Hakata Ward.
Bus
From Tenjin, take the Nishitetsu Bus number 100 or 200 towards Bay Side Place. The bus ride takes approximately 20 minutes. Get off at the 'Bay Side Place' stop. Once you exit the bus, follow the signs towards アクアリウム, which is a short 5-minute walk from the bus stop.
Walking
If you are near the Hakata River, start walking towards the Fukuoka Tower. From there, head along the riverside promenade toward the Bay Side area. Continue walking for about 25 minutes, following the water until you reach アクアリウム at 13-6 Chikkohonmachi.
Use Tower Bridge as your starting point for nearby food, family ideas, nightlife, and more local discoveries.
