Getting there

Subway

Begin your journey at Hakata Station, the main railway station in Fukuoka. From the station, take the Kuko Line (Airport Line) towards Nakasu-Kawabata. After two stops, disembark at the Tenjin Station. At Tenjin Station, transfer to the Nishitetsu Line and take a train towards Dazaifu. Get off at the next stop, which is the Chikkohonmachi Station. Once you exit the station, walk approximately 10 minutes towards the east to reach Hakata Pier, located at 13-217 Chikkohonmachi, Hakata Ward, Fukuoka.

Bus

Start your journey at Hakata Station. Go to the bus terminal located just outside the station. Look for the bus stop for Nishitetsu buses and board a bus heading towards Hakata Pier. The bus ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to get off at the Hakata Pier bus stop. From there, it’s just a short walk to the pier located at 13-217 Chikkohonmachi, Hakata Ward, Fukuoka.
