Getting There

    From Hakata Station, take the Kuko Line (Airport Line) towards Nakasu-Kawabata Station. This is a direct train and will take about 5 minutes. Get off at Nakasu-Kawabata Station.

    Upon exiting Nakasu-Kawabata Station, take Exit 1. After exiting, turn to your left and walk along the riverfront for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection. You will see a large road called the Gofukumachi Street.

    Turn right onto Gofukumachi Street and walk approximately 600 meters. Continue straight, and you will see a sign for Shofukuji on your left. The temple is located at 6-1 Gokushomachi, Hakata Ward, Fukuoka, 812-0037.
