Subway
From Hakata Station, take the Kuko Line (Airport Line) towards Meinohama. Get off at Nishi-Nippon City Bank-mae Station (西日本シティ銀行前駅). After exiting the station, head southeast towards the main road, and continue walking straight for about 10 minutes until you reach Sumiyoshi Park.
Bus
From Tenjin Station, take the Nishitetsu Bus #66 or #67 bound for 'Kawabata' or 'Sumiyoshi'. Get off at the 'Sumiyoshi' bus stop. Sumiyoshi Park will be just a short walk away, follow the signs pointing towards the park.
Walking
If you are near Hakata Station, walk towards the east side of the station and head to the Nakasu area. From Nakasu, you can walk along the river heading south for about 20-25 minutes until you reach Sumiyoshi Park, located at 4 Chome-3 Sumiyoshi, Hakata Ward.
